الايبوبروفين هو من العقاقير المضادة للالتهابات (NSAID) يستخدم لعلاج خفيفة الى معتدلة الألم و يساعد على تخفيف أعراض التهاب المفاصل (التهاب المفاصل, التهاب المفاصل الروماتويدي, أو الأحداث التهاب المفاصل) ، مثل التهاب, تورم, صلابة, و آلام المفاصل. هذا الدواء لا علاج التهاب المفاصل و سوف تساعدك فقط طالما كنت الاستمرار في أخذها .

وبالإضافة إلى ذلك, الايبوبروفين يمكن أن تستخدم لعلاج الحمى, تشنجات الحيض ، وغيرها من الشروط التي يحددها الطبيب .

هذا الدواء متوفر على حد سواء دون وصفه طبية (OTC) و مع وصفة الطبيب .
